how long after an extravasation injury from acyclovir infusion will dilution/hyaluronidase be effective? if there is a late presentation, would dilution/hyaluronidase still be effective to reduce soft tissue loss?

Hyaluronidase would be effective within the first 2 to 4 hours ideally, and probably worth using for upto 24 to 48 hours after extravasation. Beyond this time, natural dispersion will be occurring and any potential damage will be done, even if not yet evident.
