I was wondering if anyone could offer help in regards to a extravasation injury of Gadolinium i recieved whilst having an MRI for a pituitary gland tumour. It happened 4 months agao and i have 3 operations (leaving horrendous scars) and multiple IV antibiotics (via a Hickman Line). It initially came up as severe cellulitis and then progressed to a joint infection in my wrist. Although the scars are now healed, i still have discomfort in my wrist and swelling. How long will it be like this and will it get better?
